Hello There! My name is Taijah (pronounced tay-jah) and I am a child enthusiast. I began my childcare journey at the age of 16 by watching neighborhood children which eventually lead me to being a camp counselor. Since my youth, I have had the pleasure of being both a babysitter and a nanny in CT, NYC, Spain, and now, PA. I am CPR certified with training as a postpartum doula, a middle school art teacher, an ESL teacher and a youth mentor. I have attempted to leave childcare behind (I feared I wouldn’t want my own children one day), only to return a year later because I missed exploring the world through children’s eyes. As a childcare provider, I am adventurous, nurturing, compassionate, humorous, creative, disciplined, trustworthy, and exuberant.
