I've worked at Whiteface Mountain as a ski instructor for the past 7 years (starting at the age of 14), and i've primarily worked with children ages 3-11. I've also worked at the Wild Center during the Summer of 2013 where I was responsible for designing and presenting museum programs for people of all ages (yes this included working with the Wild Center's famous otters!). During that summer I was also responsible for large groups of children coming in from schools around the area. During my time with them, I not only put on large group presentations, but also interacted one-on-one with all sorts of educational and fun tools/exhibits. On top of all this, I've also had experience over the years caring for a young boy who is a dear family friend of ours. I've babysat him since he was a newborn, so I suppose I have experience sitting for Read more children up to 8. I am CPR AED/First-Aid certified through the American Heart Association.
