I have always enjoyed working with and taking care of children. Along with my job as a teaching assistant, I worked as a babysitter for many years. I often worked for families that had a special needs child. I worked for 4 families in particular as their children went through preschool, elementary school and in 2 cases high school. References available. Training and certification : Associates Degree in Child Development from SUNY, NYS Teaching Assistant Certification, Applied Behavioral Analysis Training. Training in braille and sign language though no longer proficient. I am a single mom of an 11 year old boy who attends Meadow Pond Elementary School.
