I am a college student who is aspiring to be a teacher. I have been working with children for 5+ years. I have two nephews (ages 9 & 4) and a niece ( 6 months) who I have helped cared for since birth. I am a mentor for girls (ages 13-17) at the local YMCA and I am an assistant director of a youth group at my church (ages 10-18). I want to make a difference and influence children in any way possible. Working with children I'm always reminded to say "please" "thank you" and "you're welcome". Seeing the smile on a child's face is what I live for.
