For the past five years I've worked at the recreation center in my hometown. The job primarily had me supervise children's birthday parties, which involved making sure everything was safe for the kids, but also fun. I would spend most of my time during the party playing with them and making sure they were having a good time. I also spent time teaching how to swim. My other main responsibility at this job was during the summer, where I was a camp counselor for a group of second graders. I would come up with games to play, as well as make sure they were having a good time and being safe. This job has made me love working with kids and has also allowed me to become quite good with them.
