I absolutely adore children. I love engaging them in a variety aof activities such as hiking, going to the beach, building a snowman, sledding and daily craft activities. My approach to childcare is to have fun, while also creating a structured and predictable day. I adore watching children learn, grow, and develop their own unique personalities. I am quite experienced caring for any age group. I am also excellent caring for babies and toddlers. I helped my sister deliver my twin nephews, who are now two years old. Time flies so quickly! As such, I like to make the most of all the time I nanny for children. My professional experience includes a background in social work and healthcare. While I was in nursing school, I completed clinical rotations in the NICU as well as Pediatrics. I am CPR certified and a certified Home Health Aide. I respond calmly and Read more quickly to emergency situations and have the skills to provide medical care if needed. Moreover, when I was in college at LeMoyne, I tutored other students, took a developmental psychology course and several teaching courses. These experiences have provided me with the skills and knowledge to provide developmentally appropriate childcare. If relevant to your family, I also have vast experience caring for children with special needs. My approach to children care is very individualized based upon each child’s unique personality. I’m a great multi-tasker and can complete light housekeeping along with childcare. I love working with children in any age group.
