My name is Ashley and I am 25 years old and currently enrolled as a graduate student at The College of St. Rose. I am majoring in Early Childhood Education. In addition to being in grad school I am also a teaching assistant at Albany School of Humanities in the Pre-K room. I assist the head teacher of the classroom with everyday activities relating to the curriculum. I am mainly in-charge of creating hands-on learning activities that incorporate arts and crafts. In the past I was the director of a school age childcare program in Waterford NY. My main duty as director was creating a age appropriate curriculum for children that are between the ages of 5 and 12. I included educational activities, crafts, and gross motor games. My bachelor's degree is from SUNY Plattsburgh and is in Social Work. In the past I have babysat for my family in Read more the summer, worked at summer camps at the YMCA and HVCC, and after school programs. I had an internship at SUNY Plattsburgh where I worked with infants and toddlers. I enjoy working with children and cannot wait for the day I pursue my dream to become a teacher!
