Hi all! I am a graduate student at SUNY Plattsburgh. I am getting my degree in childhood/special education from birth to sixth grade because I want to be a teacher more than anything in the world. It is truly my passion in life and I know it will make me happy. I am twenty-two years old and have an array of experience with children. I have been placed in classrooms since my freshman year of college, specifically I have spent time in kindergarten, third, and fifth grade classrooms. I also have volunteered my time at after school programs and currently work with children with autism every Saturday through a program at my college. I have a younger sister who is twelve years old and have learned a lot about children from watching her grow up over the year. I believe in being happy in life and always smiling. I know that fulfilling my dream of becoming a teacher will help me reconcile these last two beliefs. Although I go to school in Plattsburgh, I will be home for the entire summer in Wappingers and have no plans!
