I currently work at the Kids Academy at Lifetime Athletic in Garden City. With the job, the age of the children being cared for varies from 3 months to 11 years old. I have baby sat for 2 kids 5 years apart, one was an infant and the other 5 years old. At my job, I was CPR certified and trained on how to provide a safe, engaging learning environment for children. Kids Academy has helped me to stay alert and be mindful of up to 10 kids at one time. I’ve been working with kids since I was 16, the summer before I started at lifetime, I worked at another summer camp down the street from my house.
