My name is Gabby and I am a 23 year old nursing student with hopes of graduating as a pediatric nurse in the near future. I have recently graduated with a B.A. in Psychology (with the emphasis on adolescent study) in CUNY Hunter College and has been involved in multiple cultural and art clubs during my college career. I am very passionate in learning the child's mind, anatomy and physiology for it has been my dream to care for kids as heartwarming and honest as those nurses who has cared for me when I was young and sick. My experience in babysitting and childcare is through babysitting my own young nieces, nephews and cousins as well as my younger sister. I was taught and guided through childcare by the most amazing mentors, and they are my relatives and first-hand parents themselves. My love for psychology and the sciences has also helped me better protect and care for the kids I looked over in the past years. My experience with taking care of my younger family has been a humbling and rewarding experience for it made me even more motivated to pursue a career in child care under a clinical setting. I have worked in the city through various jobs in retail, food and now, a treatment center and has helped me become organized, be quick on my feet and stay on top of my responsibilities. Besides understanding and knowing the basic necessities of a child, I am also CPR and BLS certified in both adult and child care. I am very qualified and dedicated in helping the needs of families everywhere who are in need of an honest and hardworking babysitter.
