I started my first babysitting job at the age of 13. While I was in high school I worked as a daycare assistant. As an assistant; I ensured the physical well being of the children, developed lesson plans, scheduled events, communicated with parents on a daily basis and assisted with light housekeeping. I also worked summers as a camp volunteer. My responsibilities included daily classroom support, preparing and serving nutritious meals and supervising structured play.
