Hello! My name is Julie and I am a 22-year old student at Kent State University in the school counseling program. With a major in psychology and minors in child development/family development, I have always had a heart to work with children. I love helping children through their cognitive and developmental milestones, while also providing a welcoming and fun environment for them to play in! I currently volunteer every Sunday as a Youth Leader at a local church, working with middle and high school ages students. I also volunteer on Tuesdays at a support group for children at Akron Children's Hospital. Currently, I am obtaining practicum-level experience at Jackson High School, where I am interacting with teenagers on a daily basis. I have experience babysitting toddlers, and have a niece and nephew of my own whom I babysat while they were growing up. I love to have fun and be Read more active, and would thoroughly enjoy building a strong relationship with an active and loving family! Thanks so much for your time!
