I adore children, as I am a mother of a 6 month old. I graduated from The University of Akron with a degree in interpersonal communication, I also acquired a few college hours of experience in lower level education, as well as student teaching a preschool class. Music is a major part of my everyday with my son, we use it to do just about anything. I am compassionate, patient, and kind-hearted. I have such a soft spot for children of all ages. My mother has owned a childcare since I was an infant, I have always helped with her caring for children as well. I also recently worked as a playground helper at St. Joseph school in Cuyahoga Falls, watching preschool age up to 8th graders. I am currently working at a childcare in fairlawn, within the infant room and toddler room, but have realized it is not a Read more good fit for my son and myself, as I love having the ability for one on one with every child I care for and the adult to infant ratios are too large for any one on one time with the children. I am looking for more than a "job", I am looking for a career with child(ren), where I can become a nurturing aid for each and every one that I watch. I would love to work closely with a family and experience a bond that creates a strong experience as we work together. I look forward to hearing from you.
