Summer 2014- Part-time nanny for 4 year old boy and 5 year old girl. We would go to parks, play outside, do arts and crafts. I would make healthy snacks and lunches for them. Spring 2015- Joined Big Brothers Big Sisters and became a mentor to a 7 year old girl with behavioral issues. We play memory games, color, and read together. Fall 2015- Classroom observation (Second grade) duties included reading with small groups, vocabulary review, math lessons, and writing skills. When I was in eighth grade I babysat a first grader after school. We would do her homework, eat snacks, and play some games afterwards. This really sparked my interest into the field of education.
