I have mainly babysat for family in the past but I was a lifeguard for 10 years where I also taught swimming lessons for kids ranging in age from 3-18. I also coached a synchronized swimming team for about 4 years before I moved to Columbus; during which I was responsible for 30 girls ranging from 7-18 years of age. I have always been involved with kids, either watching them or teaching them, and I find it very rewarding to get involved in their lives. My CRP, First Aid, Oxygen, and AED certifications have recently expired since I have stopped life-guarding, but I have extensive knowledge of all since I was certified in all of the above for 10 years. As a side note I have also taught a couple young girl piano lessons if you have any interest in your kids learning an instrument!
