I have a Master’s Degree in social work and a BS in Human Development and Family Studies. I have over 10 years of experience working with children in a professional setting. I have experience in creating and adapting learning plans and goals to meet the needs, temperament, and learning styles of every child that I work with. I believe that idle time is a waste and that children should be encouraged to learn and explore their passions and curiosity. I like to get kids outside of their home for activities in their communities such as going to the park, museums, the local zoo, and sporting events. In home activities include homework and reading time, team building games, small science experiments, crafts, small cooking lessons (if allowed), and whatever the child and parents are interested in.
