Hi! My name is Charlotte 'Teresa', and am a qualified child care specialist. I am a retired teacher, and have two children of my own. I have worked with children from preschool age to sixth grade, and have enjoyed every minute of it. I would like to continue to care for children as I miss it dearly. I am CPR certified and first aid trained. I believe in giving children stimulation in every way, i. e., cognitively, physically, emotionally, and developmentally. We had been messaging quite a bit and she was eager to meet with my son and I for an interview but texted shortly before her arrival that she broke her leg and would be unable to work for some time. Due to her one other review I'm not sure whether to take this as an honest cancellation or if it was just a way out of this job. If it wasn't true, a simple "no thank you" would have sufficed.

I had spoke with Teresa on the phone about childcare in my home. The conversation went well and I setup to meet with her for an interview. Even though we scheduled the interview for a holiday weekend, she said it was no problem. We were scheduled to meet at 3 pm. At 2 pm I called and left a message that she could come early if she wanted to. About 15 minutes before she was supposed to arrive she called to say she had been up sick all night with the flu and would not be coming. We rescheduled for the following weekend. She no call-no showed! All of this after I paid $80 for a background check on her. Needless to say, I am not happy.
