Hello! My name is Anna and I am a 24-year-old future Occupational Therapist who hopes to provide individualized care for children now and through my future career. The last stages of my master's program are currently on hold due to the pandemic but I don't want to let that stop me from caring for the population I love and applying my skills. It has been a few years since I have held a full time nannying position but the time I have spent in graduate school has allowed me to deeper my understanding of typical and atypical child development. I also have been able to apply my skills throughout the program and to promote learning and independence in children through play while taking into account the child's sensory and behavioral needs. I have past nannying and childcare experience with children from the ages of 7 months to 10 years old. Read more I also have experience providing care and therapeutic intervention for children with autism and down syndrome. I maintain up to date CPR and First Aid certifications at all times. When I am caring for children I love to learn about them and their interests so I can support those interests and build off of them to plan engaging activities. I also love to encourage spending time outside, reading, playing games, and being creative.
