My background in childcare: I am an experienced child caregiver in the sense that I have worked with children ages 3 - 12 for many years. I have 5 years experience as a volunteer for Rocky River Recreation Center sport classes for children ranging from 3 to 10 years old. Within those five years, I have two years experience as a Summer Camp Counselor Volunteer for the Rocky River Recreation Center leading my own group of children which ranged from 12 to 14 children. Last year I was as a Tutor for America Reads. I assisted children ages 5 - 12 in the Cleveland area with primarily increasing their literacy performance as well math, science, and writing skills. My most recent experience has been caring weekly for an infant and a family of 3 children (ages 6-12) as well as other on-call work with children between 2-4. A little about Read more me: I am currently a senior at Cleveland State University pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a minor in Management as well as Sociology. I am set to graduate a year early in the spring of 2017. Before Cleveland State University, I attended Magnificat High School and Rocky River High School, graduating with honors. Currently at American Greetings Corporate Headquarters, I am an Intern for the Human Resources Department. I have been working within the department for almost two years, starting off as a Senior Project Volunteer. I am also currently in the process of renewing my CPR and First Aid Training.
