I have always loved working with and being around children, and I think I have the patience and devotion necessary to care for children. For the past year, I have been caring for a little girl. .She was around 4 months when I started the job, and she is now 13 months old. The family will be moving to California this June, so I am looking for work now. I have become very attached to this whole family, and am hoping to find another family to work with. I noticed that you have lived in Baltimore, and I actually am from Baltimore and only moved to Cleveland around two years ago, as my husband got a job here. When i lived in Baltimore, I used to work as an attorney in the Child Advocacy Division at the Legal Aid Bureau. Since coming to Cleveland i have volunteered at the children's Read more hospital of Cleveland Clinic, worked as an Ombudsman at the Cleveland Clinic and provided child care. I love being around children, and obviously my current family will provide a reference. I live in Shaker Heights, and have my own car. My own son and daughter are in their twenties and no longer live at home. Perhaps the most important thing about providing child care is ensuring that the child is always safe, and providing care to the child as if she was your own child. I always get very attached to the children I watch, because the child is more than just a job….the child is an individual I grow to love!
