My name is Alysha and I am currently a senior at Bowling Green State University majoring in Education. I have a lot of experience working with children of all ages. In high school, I was a teacher's aide in a first grade classroom for 4 years. I also babysat for three children over the course of three summers. During this time we read books, did activities, went swimming, and took many walks to the park. I also worked as an infant room teacher at a Learning Center. I taught the infants sign language and we did many arts and crafts/sensory activities. I am currently a Substitute Teacher at the Learning Center and work with the Toddler and Preschoolers. Throughout my career at Bowling Green State University, I have taken Classroom Management, Sign Language, and Applied Behavior to strengthen my knowledge of children. I have also tutored 2nd grade students in Read more reading and math, and I have experience working in many classroom settings. I am currently student teaching at a middle school and absolutely love it.
