Ever since I remember, I have been incredibly passionate about helping others in need. In 5th grade, I was crowned winner of the national "writing the Whitehouse" compassion for 5th grade students. I plead for the Whitehouse to help the homeless in our country (written crayon) and that was it. From then on, I strived to make a difference in society. I earned my Bachelor's degree in both psychology and sociology, minoring in philosophy and law. My undergrad University asked me to tutor fellow undergrad students throughout the years in various subjects including math and english courses, I gladly accepted the role. In addition, my college research was selected to be presented for The Board of Trustees by the school hierarchy and I was also the recipient of the Academic Achievement Award for my grades. Once graduated, I continued my education in the field at The Ohio State University. For Read more the past 9 years, I have been employed as a mental health specialist with various facilities while also working with a family practice center. I am more than comfortable taking care of my patients, regardless of the age or need. I have also been offered several of the more difficult volunteer position with elite facilities in Columbus. Currently, I am affiliated with OSU's Wexner Medical Center in the ER department, the neonatal department at Nationwide Children's Hospital and as an advocate for CHOICES, whom serve the homeless population and domestic violence victims. I am naturally a very social and compassionate individual. Engaging with all walks of life brings me great joy. In addition, I am also incredibly organized and I LOVE doing it. I enjoy coming up with creative ways to accomplish the most desirable outcomes. Many of my family, friends and coworkers have asked encouraged me to start my own organization company. I am nationally certified in CPR, first aid and crisis intervention. I am very familiar and comfortable with children of any age and have extensive experience thanks to my career. I am also a huge pet person, I have an 8 year old lab/husky mix whom I love dearly. My hobbies include outdoor activities, crafting, sports, and reading. For most of my life, most of my free time is spent doing one of those things.
