I am a Part Time Lecturer in the Dance department at Case Western Reserve University. I love children and often volunteer in the nursery at my church or to help friends by watching their kids so they can go on the occasional and well deserved date night. I've taught dance classes to children beginning at the age of 2 and 3yrs all the way up through high school age and into college age as well. I worked as a Kindermusik teacher for a year and absolutely adored being surrounded by the children's smiling faces and sharing my love of music and movement with them. As a dance instructor I've worked with varying classes sizes, usually between 10-20 students per class. As a child care provider, I've babysat up to 3 children under the age of 8 for the same family. It brings me such joy to invest in a child and to observe their milestone achievements as they grow into their own. Getting to be there when they open up and show their personalities, sing along to a song for the first time, or come up with their own new game for us to play are the things that make working with children such a pleasure!
