I am a graduate of The Ohio State University, receiving my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. I am currently a student at Lesley University studying to receive my Master of Arts in Expressive Therapies: Dance/Movement Therapy and eligible to become a Licence Mental Health Counselor after appropriate hours/supervision. I have been a nanny since 2011. I was a preschool teacher before beginning my Graduate school career and have been teaching dance and taekwondo since 2008. I have worked with children ages 3-18. I have nannied for multiple families over the years ranging from ages 4-13. With my multiple teaching positions I have acquired a great knowledge of how to interact with kids and have developed excellent knowledge and skills to work with and support diverse communities as well as giving me the chance to develop a good understanding of a child's needs. I Read more have also had the opportunity to work with children with autism and giving them the opportunity to expand their kinesthetic awareness for them to then gain more confidence within themselves. In my education in psychology at the Ohio State University I have developed a great knowledge of abnormal psychology as well as specializing in courses in child development, creative psychology and other social psychology classes. I am also a certified dancing mindfulness facilitator.
