I am currently a senior at Elon University and will graduate in May with a degree in Exercise Science. I will begin pursuing my Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Chatham University in Pittsburgh in the fall. I love working with children and I hope to work as a physical therapist in a pediatric rehabilitation unit at a children's hospital. I grew up in Gates Mills, Ohio. I am lucky enough to have two sisters. My older sister is 26 and my younger sister is 16 years old. I love being active and being outside. I have become a consistent runner for the past few years and I have completed 3 half-marathons and I am training for one in May. I was on the varsity golf team in high school and also played soccer, basketball, and ran track for many years. I have babysat for multiple families for the past 6 Read more years. The children have ranged from ages 18 months to 12 years. I spent 4 summers as a lifeguard and then the last 2 summers as a camp counselor at The Nature Camp in Gates Mills. I was the team-building counselor the first year and was a group counselor for girls in 4th and 5th grade last summer. This past fall, I was lucky enough to be a mentor for a 4th grade girl with Alamance County Girls in Motion and continue to keep in touch with her. I love working with children and would love to help a family ensure their children have a summer filled with great memories!
