Hi, my name is Kara! A little about myself, I am currently a full time nanny for a family in Dublin, but have recently found out that they can no longer afford a nanny due to a change in their job situation. Before this I worked for The Ohio State University as a research assistant in an Entomology Laboratory for 4 years. My husband and I recently got married last year and bought a home in Columbus. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, playing board games, taking photos, and traveling. I love animals, the outdoors, hiking, and all things Disney. I really enjoy being a nanny and being able to teach kids new topics. I babysat in high school and continued through college, and now regularly for various families. I have babysitting experience with infants to children up to 14 years. I would enjoy teaching kids and allowing Read more them to better understand the world around them. Much of my spare time went into caring for families as that is something I enjoyed doing. I also enjoy cleaning and helping organize which is what my current employer loves! My passion is being around children and wanting to someday be a mom. I have both adult and pediatric CPR, first aid, and AED training. Ideally I am looking for a full time, taxable position for a great family where I can have the opportunity to not only look after kids, but also engage them in being outdoors, building, crafts, and reading.
