I would really enjoy spending time with your children when you need help in the evenings and weekends. I have lived and worked in both the Cleveland and Akron areas so am familiar with various suburbs and locations. I am willing to drive up to 25 miles to come to your home. I have been taking of children since I was in the 6th grade including being a Mother's Helper, babysitting, teaching Sunday school, being a nanny during my high school summers and more recently raising my 14 year old daughter, being a Girl Scout Leader and taking caring of friends' children. Since resuming sitting for pay again in 2014, some of the children I have cared for include: a 3 month old infant, 1,3 ,4 & 8 year old siblings and 5 ,8 &10 year old siblings. I also work in a church nursery to watch toddlers and preschoolers Read more on Sunday mornings. It has been great fun to have that interaction again. I have always loved children and have a minor in library science so especially love reading to them. I also love to play games with them, sing with them and take them outside. For older children, when appropriate, I like to take them on outings to playgrounds, movies, parks, museums, etc. I am trustworthy, reliable and conscientious. I have had a background check and fingerprinting done as well as taken Virtus training at my church. I also have had a background check with Sittercity and in December 2014 I renewed my CPR/First Aid/AED certification with the American Red Cross for infants through adults. I have a golden retriever I have trained as a Therapy dog and have a small parrot as well so I am very comfortable with pets. In November 2014, I was certified with the American Red Cross for First Aid for cats as well as dogs. I have a full time job as an engineer and am looking for part time work so I can help pay for my daughter's Catholic high school education.
