In highschool, I did lots of service hours. I also did Big Brothers Big Sisters, where I learned the art of patience. We were assigned a kid who had lower grades and didn’t behave well in class. We came to their school once a week and sat with them, helped them with their homework, and talked to them to make sure their home lives were healthy. After taking care of all of the “big brother/big sister” responsibilities, we then would take them outside and play games with them. In August of 2014, I worked at Beautiful Eyebrows, where I had to learn to become a people person. People came in and requested for their eyebrows, upper lip, facial hair, etc. to be threaded and we Read more had to do just that. After Beautiful Eyebrows closed, I began working at Howard Johnson’s as a housekeeper. Working this job, I had to change sheets, take out trash, dust, vacuum, and do laundry. This was a perfectionist job, everything had to be absolutely perfect. Since May of 2015, I have been working my first job in retail, at TJ Maxx. I really enjoy it, being in a shopping environment and my job is usually to keep all the clothes and merchandise organized. I’m a very organized person and I love for everything to be nice and neat and in order. I have a niece whom i help take care of. She lived with me at one point, but now she’s back with her mom. I still have her in all of my free time, buy her everything, feed her, cloth her, etc. I’m always babysitting people children and keeping an eye out for my friends children when they need it. I truly just love children, being around them, helping them to learn, love, and care for one another. I think that I’m just a very hardworking young woman and I love to help others, as well as keeping myself busy.
