I am very new to this when it comes to watching other children other than my family’s. I’ve changed diapers from newborns, to help potty train toddlers, to supervising 10-12 year olds. The key with children is to have patience but remain in a disciplinary firm. I am not overwhelmed by the responsibility of taking care of another human being for a set amount of time. In that time, I would want to teach them beneficial things for life. Safety and being aware of your surroundings is very important especially dealing with a child, let alone multiple children. I am putting myself in the shoes to take on a role that isn’t up for failure. With the little military training and supervisory role I had years ago, I believe i am at the top of the list to take on the “job”.
