I have worked with children and their families for my entire life. As a teenager babysitting, a social worker working in foster care and adoption, providing child care in my home, volunteering as a Big Sister in the Big Sister/ Little Sister program, raising 2 children and now enjoying my 2 grandchildren. I am CPR certified and have had First Aid training. I am a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Ohio and a college graduate. Most recently, I have been providing child care in my home for up to 5 children. I would like to transition to a nanny job, so I can spend more one on one time with the child/ren. I enjoy talking to kids, playing, singing and dancing with them, going for walks, reading books and going places. I like to take kids to parks, museums, the library, classes and the zoo. Children are fascinating Read more and joyful and funny and always keep you on your toes. I am active, reliable, experienced, loving, creative, nurturing and have a good sense of humor. I have no trouble acting silly and playing games. I try to incorporate learning in everyday activities and make it fun. Watching children grow and develop and having a part in that is very rewarding for me and I love being part of it. I am looking forward to transitioning to caring for a child/ren and being part of their lives. I hope I can make life easier for the entire family. I would be happy to talk and meet with you, so you can get to know me and see if I am a good match for your family.
