I am a mother of three grown children. My past professional experiences was working as an RN prior to our move to Ohio twenty years ago. My husband and I mutually agreed I would become a stay at home mom as we did not have family around us to help care for our children. I have worked as an RN for a few years, but found it to be a big challenge to get back to the nursing I really enjoyed after not practicing for so long. In 2013, I was offered an opportunity to job share with a friend and watch two amazing young children twice a week all day. I have provided a nurturing, loving environment for the children in their own home. I completely engage myself with the children through play, reading, arts and crafts. etc. I drive them to their activities, school, doctors appointments, at times Read more take them to my house to play with the dogs(which they love). I truly treat the children as if they were my own keeping the total well being of each individual child everytime they are under my care. I prefer to be busy, so we do spend a lot of time at parks, the zoo, and library. This family will not longer need our services as both children will be in school full time this fall.
