My experiences include babysitting for family members, friends, and friends of the family. I watched my brother growing up and it made me realize I really do enjoy being around children. I babysat for my two little cousins since they are babies, they're 11 and 14 now and I still go over there from time to time while their parents are out. I've also babysat for a roommate who had a newborn at the time, my friend who has a 1 year old, and multiple others. Not to mention my brothers 3 kids who are 5, 7 and 10. They are a handful but it's fun once you get a routine. I have numbers for all references if needed. I took a babysitting class when I was 12 at the Red Cross. Obviously it is expired and all that now, but I believe it shows that I am qualified as Read more a 20 year old if I was at the age of 12. The class included what to do if the child gets hurt or chokes, how to keep them busy, how to teach the child in a fun way, CPR and other great tips on how to watch a child. Because I am living with my parents right now to babysit your child I would have to go to your home. Which, I feel is good anyway so that the child is in a comfortable area where he or she feels like they can be themselves so we can bond easier and it can be a smooth transition. I love playing educational games, helping with homework, playing, and keeping the child (or children) happy and clean. I am a huge clean fanatic so I will be sure that everything will be just as you left it, and that includes your children. I can also prepare small meals for your child and snacks as long as you have what's needed in your own kitchen. I am working on a license right now so I cannot take your child places myself. I do however have rides back and fourth where I need to be and am never late to a job.
