I am an active young grandmother. I raised 5 of my 6 brothers while both my parents worked. I continued with my own priceless three sons getting all through college, married and making an impact on their communities. I help with 6 of our 8 beautiful grandchildren residing in the area; 1 entering Kent State, 2 attending St John's Jesuit, 3 attend Sylvania schools (Northview, McCord Jr and Highland). In 1992 I found myself a cancer survivor and returned to college to study & add a degree of Early Childhood Development to my original Psychology degree while working at Child's Play daycare. While there I became the nanny to two beautiful children who have now both graduated college and though miles separate they remain part of our family. Currently I am the main care giver for an irresistible, active 3 yr old little girl and her new baby sister for Read more 16 hrs per week during the school year. Also, Thursday evenings I enjoy dinner, story time and bedtime routine with 2 intelligent delightful little boys in Sylvania. I am seeking a position for 1 or 2 days per week (7-9 hrs per day) or an occasional day or evening each week or "date nights". I am planning to work another 5 years for loving caring family or families as has been my past experience the past few years. I reside in Springfield Twp with my husband of 37 yrs along with beloved Golden Retriever & Yellow Lab thus animal are not an issue. I was born and raised in northern Wisconsin thus I drive in snow! I have a strong Catholic background and attend St Joan of Arc. I am loving, prompt, positive, patient, flexible and like to keep busy. I believe in routine and offer age appropriate learning, crafts, music, games, outdoor walks and play and will do light house chores. Strong references available.
