Hello, I am a sibling of a big family that has spent most of my time growing up taking care of children. My youngest sibling is seven years younger than me and due to having mental handicaps is still left in my care often. My sister also had a son when I was fourteen and due to homeschooling I spent much time taking care of him. While being his nanny of sorts I also became responsible for my neighbor's son, whom I still watch to this day eight years later regardless of having moved. I have watched three children at a time for one family and also have watched kid's friends along with them. I am interested in going to school for early childhood education but have yet to enroll due to just graduating from Cosmetology school and getting my license. I still watch my nephew at least once a Read more month after two years of everyday care and at 21 still make most of my income taking care of children whose families I have created strong bonds with. I look forward to continuing my line of work with new families and want very badly to pursue this. Most of the children I watch have now grown up alongside me and don't require me as often and I greatly miss babysitting.
