Of course I had the typical high school babysitting job, but mine was a bit different. I watched two great kids from 2pm to 7pm while Mom and Dad started their new company. I cleaned up, prepared meals, helped with homework and provided family support. I would often also watch the kids over the weekends while Mom and Dad concentrated on making their new business successful. Now a mom myself, I see how important it is to have a loving caregiver support the family structure. I feel reading, creative activities, drawing and the arts are important to making children of all ages more well rounded and ready for the future.
