About me: UPDATE: I have accepted a full-time position and am not currently available. Thank you for your interest in advance. I am a married nanny, sitter, and caregiver with an absolute love for children. I have been a caregiver on sittercity in the past and have made some great connections! I have worked in the childcare industry for 12+ years and have been CPR and First Aid trained. My current abilities: I am college-educated and was seeking to fill a need in servicing other young families with care for their children. My experience: In the past, I've cared for multiples between the ages of 7 months to 15 years old. They are usually siblings. I still occasionally care for a family of 8 with ages ranging from 9mos to 9 years old (i.e. if their parents are out of town for a weekend or if they need a sitter for date night or just an extra set of hands.) However, the caregiving position I contract with you is absolutely first-priority. I also nannied a set of 4year-old twins full-time and also have assisted in nannying a family with quadruplets. The most recent position I held was a family with two children. I thoroughly enjoyed it! I view care-giving as a career-- not just "babysitting". I hold myself accountable to the same standards I would any position and I strive to work with diligence and integrity. I view myself as part of the "family team" as well and delight in being an extension of the parental unit. My background: I have a background in Biology, English and Psychology and enjoy making education fun for children! I enjoy reading, writing and running. Sherri came over to watch my kids one day when I was in a tough position. We were aiming for Nannying, but with my brood of kids there just was not working logistically, no matter how much I wanted it to. I'm jealous to whomever snatches Sherri Lynn up, She's one in a million and I would trust my childrens lives with her. She's upbeat and my kids LOVED her. I can't recommend her enough.
