Hi! My name is Mary and I am the mother of two wonderful adult children! I came from a family of eight children, so babysitting was a given! Be it a brother, sister, niece, nephew or friends of my children, I have spent a great deal of time watching children. I worked in the Lorain City Schools as a Severe Behavioral aide before I went to school for my RN. During that time, my husband and I took in two foreign exchange students. I also volunteered in a Teen mother program for a year. In the last few years, I worked with disabled young adults as a Job Coach. Along with that, I watch twin girls that just turned four! This summer I was asked to take on a live in position for an eleven month old boy. I enjoyed every second watching him and miss him so very much! Read more I drive, and feel confident with children in the car. I clean and cook and I can juggle an after school schedule! I love reading, nature and imaginary play. I love experiencing things through a child's eyes and watching them learn new things daily. I am loving, caring and dependable.My CPR and First Aide have recently expired but I am more than happy to renew them. I am extremely concerned about safety issues. I am willing to follow through with a background check if you are interested in hiring me.
