I believe in doing more than babysitting while caring for a child. There is no cookie cutter way to learn and every child has different ways in doing so. I believe in teaching early on. And they soak up everything, even when you think they're not listening. I still am amazed how excited my son gets when he learns something new. I believe that a child needs structure, I can provide center times, and play while learning. I can provide in my home a safe, comfortable, fun, learning environment for your child. I am looking to provide services for up to 4 children. I have nannied in the past for 4 years and I am a mother of a 5 yr old. I messaged Katie on request for her to possibly be a caregiver for my son. She was very nice and friendly at first. But when I asked if she would be willing to learn proper intact care. She kept disregarding the question. And also acted insulted and rude because I told her I was not looking for a sitter to just do as they wish with my child. she also asked if my child had special needs. I'm assuming it's because she has no idea what "intact" means. I would have LOVED to have Katie has a caregiver before she was extremely rude and non understanding of my situation. She claims she has professional care but it's obviously far from it.. Hopefully she will find a better profession because caring for others children does not work when you are rude and non understanding of proper parental rules and schedules.
