After more than a decade of working in education administration, I left my full-time job in March 2013 to finish my teaching license through the program at Ashland University.  While I finish my coursework and prepare to do my student teaching, I have returned to my very first job: caring for children!   My licensure will be for middle grades education (4th through 9th), so I am particularly skilled at working with these age groups.  However, I welcome the opportunity to meet and care for your younger children as well.  I have a FBI/BCI background check on file with Ashland University, and I would be happy to provide this information for you. My current nanny position is temporary; it will conclude at the end of the children's summer break from school.  All summer, I have spent 45hrs/week with three siblings:  a 13yo girl and two boys, 9yo and 5yo.  We Read more have explored the parks, playgrounds and libraries around central Ohio.  Additionally, this family prefers to limit "screen time" for the kids, so I have spent many hours devising creative play that engages them, rather than just sitting them in front of a TV. The family has an elderly dog as well.   It would be a pleasure and a privilege to care for your child(ren).  I would prefer to work on a PT basis (25-30 hrs/week) but am willing to negotiate hours to ensure a mutually convenient schedule.
