Meet Amber

First and foremost, I have 2 children of my own, a 9-year-old girl and 4-year-old boy. I have a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science from Marshall University. I operated an in-house child care facility for 9 months in 2015-2016 where I cared for 5 children ages 2 and up. In 2016-2017, I cared for my cousin's 3 year old daughter full time. I worked at a child care facility in Green Valley for one summer in 2008. I also worked for Ameri-Corps Energy Express for two summers in 2006 and 2007, where I was a mentor to a class of up to 8 children between ages 5-12 years. I made lesson plans for reading, writing, crafts, and physical activities. I also have experience as a peer tutor for 4 years during college. When I moved back to Princeton in 2011, I cared for my nephew (1 1/2 years old at Read more the time) and baby cousin (1-year-old at the time) a couple days a week. As a teenager, I cared for three brothers spaced in age from 2-8. I babysat for them for a few years. On occasion, I have cared for 3 children ages 3-6 years old for a friend while she ran errands.
