Caregiving, to me, is one of the most fun and rewarding experiences to have. I've grown up in a large family, me being one of the youngest. I've always had a great caring and giving side to me, but being the youngest never allowed me to help take care of any younger siblings or family members. So, when I turned 16 I turned to babysitting, helping out former teachers, neighbors, and families my parents know. Along with babysitting, I have volunteered numerous hours in my church's nursery, caring for newborns up to the age group of 8-10 year old kids. I have a Red-Cross Babysitting Training certification, including practice in CPR, feeding children, putting children to bed, disciplining children, etc. I am open to pet-sitting, as well. I am a big animal lover, from fish to dogs! My family and I have rescued a dog and a cat, both of Read more which we still have as a part of the family today. I have also volunteered at an animal shelter for my high school's National Honor's Society, which gave me a great hands-on experience with animals. I am currently studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Akron. School is extremely important to me and has taught me a lot about good work ethics and responsibility, both of which I will bring into your home.
