Thanks for checking out my page! I have two little brothers that I have had to watch over from a very young age that was almost the starting point in babysitting. My family became big into foster care, and with my mom in a full time position, I was often called upon to help take care of the children, and I truly loved it. I plan on becoming a foster parent when I am older and out of school, as well as adopting a couple of children in need. I started babysitting other people's children (meaning those that my parents were not the primary guardians of) around the age of 13. I was paid for taking care and watching the kids for a couple of hours. When I grew a little older, I was given the opportunity to run the children bible school at my church. I did that voluntarily Read more through out middle school, which allowed me to learn to engage with little kids through crafts and also helping them grow into fantastic people. Throughout high school I volunteered frequently at Headstart in Washington Court House. I am still volunteering, even though I am moving to Wright State soon. I have training in CPR and First Aid through the Heartsaver certification. Other than that, all other training is heavily reliant on previous experience and my passion for little kids. If you are interested in having a babysitter for afternoons or evenings, please contact me at borden.10@wright.edu. I check my email everyday, so I should respond no later than 24 hours of request.
