I have always loved working with children. I've spent my summers teaching bible school to pre schoolers since I was in 6th grade. At 15 I started babysitting regularly for a family and eventually became their nanny. I worked with that family until they moved away when I was 22. In addition to the skills I have learned through experience, I have taken several early childhood education classes. I spent a few semesters in college studying to become a preschool teacher, but discovered that I prefer being a nanny for a family over being a teacher for a full classroom. I believe that children should be in a positive environment that encourages healthy growth and development. I do my best to provide each child with their personal needs to make that type of environment possible. I like to encourage children to be adventurous and explore to learn.
