I have been working children of all age groups for over ten years now. this includes children and adults with special needs as well. I am certified in CPR, first aid, and child abuse. being able to help children learn and grow has always been a joy to me. It's a way of giving back to them just as I was taught. It takes a special person to know a child's needs and to be compatible with them. Also the right attitude is key when interacting with kids. It's important to have high energy and to be very active with them. children watch everything. so I always want to make sure I am teaching them the right mannerisms and behaviors. Responsibility is another key factor to have, children need someone whom they can rely on and trust. As well as the parent. A dependable person can produce all of these Read more qualities. I take Arriving on time for work very serious and also following all of instructions that are set for the day. This helps me to focus on the child's needs at hand. I Also believe in sensitivity when it comes to dealing with a child. This helps me to read a child's emotions, they could be having a bad day and i might not understand unless I pay attention to there behaviors. Different signs if different behavior will indicate different things. Such as acting out, being aggressive, sad, or obstinate. Paying attention to a child's patterns is very important because children don't always know how to communicate effectively. So it's up to us as adults to pay attention to what they need. helping children to develop is. A very important factor as well. Teaching the numbers, letters, and words will help them become strong when developing sentence structure. It will help them with their daily activities in school as well. Whatever material the teacher is teaching, it is important to go over it again. These activities will constantly help their mind to developed soundly. In some situations one might have to Create a different way for a child to learn. this may occur because every child does not learn in the same way. This can be done by creating a song or flash cards, to help them process the information. We as care givers must figure out a child's way of learning and retaining information. I have in the past that this makes it easiest for them to learn, an for us to understand them better. Every time I work with a new child, I will always try to figure out his or hers likes and dislikes. It always make it much easier to get to know them .
