Hello, parents! My name is Cassidy Guinn and I am 18 years old.. But, don't let my age fool you! I'm full of energy and so excited about life and I love having these qualities working with kiddos. Let's start with my past experiences: My first job with experience with children was in the summer of last year. I was nanny. This nanny job is what made me fall in love with caring for children. My hours were Monday-Friday 7am-5pm. Honestly, I felt as though this place was my second home and that's how I feel it should be. I cared for a 5 and 6 year old and we went on many adventures! We went to the zoo, museums, parks, and even trips to get snowcones! My duties were to keep the house clean, prepare meals, and keep those two angels excited about coming to see Ms. Cassidy everyday. My very first job I ever received was on my 17th birthday, and now that I look back on it, it was the best birthday present ever! I got hired as an Americorps Member for Putnam City Schools in Oklahoma. Americorps is a branch of the Peacecorps that was estabished by the President Bill Clinton. In this position, my title was "after school teacher". I worked 3;30-6;00 everyday after school with 3rd-5th graders. I loved this job so much! I was a two year member and absolutely adored seeing the children's faces when they learned something new and exciting. I had to conduct lesson plans, interact one on one with my students, and be the best role model I could be for them. My first job with experience with children was in the summer of last year.
