Hello! My name is Emily and I am a 38 year old military spouse who is new to Northern Virginia. I am currently a stay at home mom, but I'm looking for part time babysitting work. I have 2 previous years as a preschool teacher of children 2-5, but my own kids are 11-16, so I have experience with all ages. I can come to you, or you can bring your kiddos to me. I have flexible availability and a new Chevy Traverse to transport children to and from school and activities. I have been previously certified in CPR and 1st Aid for children, but currently my certifications have expired. I can work consistently during the week, or just a night here or there. Emily seem interested when she reply to my job post, however when I E-mail to set up a day for an interview it took long to hear back from her. Then when we set up a day and time that she indicated worked best for her, one and half hour before we had set time and were waiting for her to arrived she E-mail me to say she was not coming, simple as that no apology or explanation, I don't understand why people look for a job if they will not take a interview seriously, I could have scheduled some one else that really wants the position but instead I have wasted my time E-mailing and scheduling with Emily, if you can't show up for an interview then you are not responsible individual, as a parent looking for a sitter I know that if you can't rely on a sitter been there for a interview then it is not someone you should hire as your sitter because that shows you that they are not a responsible or some one you can count on .
