Hello, I am Kelly Dudark and I live in Norman, Oklahoma. I have had many opportunities working with children of all ages. My experience first began in High School working at an in-home daycare for 3 years. The ages of the children were between newborn to 6 years old. The following summer after I graduated from High School I had the pleasure of working at a Youth Camp for the Salvation Army. I had a cabin full of kiddos for a month and a half. Each week I had a new group of kids, they could be anywhere from 5 to 14 years old. That opportunity greatly advanced my knowledge of care taking. During my second semester of college I found a Daycare in which I became the afternoon teacher and cared for six toddlers for 3 hours every day. It was one of the most rewarding and entertaining jobs Read more I have ever had. On the weekends I would often babysit for the parents of my classroom children when needed. These three jobs taught me that children are all unique and each have their own way of showing what they need. I believe that children deserve respect and need to feel loved and cared for to impact their lives.
