I moved to United States from Russia when I was about ten years old. I enlisted in the Air National Guard to put myself through school. During this time, I gained solid training in first aid and disaster response. I finished my PhD in Molecular Biology in 2012 and moved to Oklahoma in 2014. I was homeschooled for several years when I was a teenager. During this time I was the primary caregiver for my little sister from the time that she was born until she was about 4 years old. I love kids and have enjoyed tutoring elementary school children reading and math for over ten years. I am currently a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteer where I have the opportunity to stand up for at risk children and fight for their best interest in court. I am also currently babysitting two 4 year old twin boys for Read more a couple of hours a day. Every day I come up with educational and fun activities for us to do together to encourage creativity and work on the weaknesses in their individual educational development. I strongly believe that every child should feel safe, comfortable, and loved.
