I was a summer babysitter for two children, ages 6 years and 15 months. I watched them for 10 hours a day during the week, and a couple hours over the weekend sometimes. I was responsible for their breakfast and lunch, which was no problem. After their lunch settled, we would either go into the backyard and play or we would go to the park in town to get at least an hour or two playing outside. Sometimes we went to the beach as well. I would lay the baby down for his nap and the older child and I would watch a movie until the baby woke up and then we would all play together.
