Hi, my name is Shelley. I have 3 grown children and 6 grand children so far...!! I am 51 yrs old. For the past 14 months I have been a nanny/housekeeper for a family with 4 children which I have enjoyed very much. Unfortunately the youngest child is now also in school and the fathers schedule has changed so I was no longer needed. They will give an excellent reccomendation. I started with sitter city a little over a year ago after wanting a change of careers. I was formerly a school bus driver and city bus driver for the past seven years but I have been in the childcare business also for many years. I started working at childcare centers while still in high school and decided to stay home and babysit other children after my first child was born. I also had a licensed home daycare in Nevada Read more and also in Tulsa about 18 years ago. Children make me happy! Their innocence and love of life reminds me constantly to be thankful for all the many blessings in my life. I am a Christian woman who is very affectionate and thoughtful of each individual childs needs. I have worked with an infant/toddler who had cerebral palsy, also with various allergy affected children as well as some with behavioral or emotional issues. I am extremely reliable, always on time and rarely ever do I get ill. My car is in very good condition and I am willing to watch children at my home also if needed.

My family is new to the area, just moving here from KC, we know a very limited amount of people. We were in desperate need of a babysitter for the day while my wife and I were at work. After meeting Shelly all the little fears I had about using a person I didn't know to watch my 2 year old son (my reason for living) were put at ease. She made me feel very comfortable from the start. She came highly recommend from her pervious employer where she was a nanny for 4 children until she was not needed anymore because all of the children had reached school age. She will definitely be our first choice in the future.
